Two Chicks, Three Seats Episode 63: Valentine’s Day in the Hospitality Industry

Share:

Did you know that Valentine’s Day is the second most popular holiday for dining out, only beat out by Mother’s Day? Couples, singles, friends, and groups of couples all gather to celebrate (or hate on) the holiday of Valentine’s Day, often over a delicious meal and strong drinks.

On the latest episode of Tripleseat’s podcast Two Chicks, Three Seats, my co-host Kate Kennedy and I discuss the money-making holiday of Valentine’s Day. Many restaurants and venues have begun their promotions for prix-fixe menus, special a la carte offerings, takeout or catering packages, and special gift card promotions all centered around the holiday of love. If you had been on the fence about offering something special for Valentine’s Day, there is still time to create an offering and promote it to the many couples and groups who have not yet made their Valentine’s Day plans.

In Episode 63, Kate and I tell our listeners about the offerings we have seen from our own Tripleseat customers and how any restaurant or venue can create a new offering holiday right now!
