Tripleseat Release Notes: Summer 2019


Releases never stop at Tripleseat — even during the dog days of summer. In this inaugural release notes post we’re bringing you up to speed on all the new features we introduced over the summer months. We’ve made updates that will give you more flexibility to your documents when converting to PDFs, a change to your lead form that will help you find out how guests heard about you, payment improvements to master docs, and a new dashboard layout to help our hotel customers view bookings and leads. You asked, we listened! Take a look at our newest features.

PDF converter for booking and event documents

The new PDF converter allows for more flexibility including adjustable margins, various paper size defaults, and the ability to create headers and footers using merge fields. The new converter is automatically enabled for all new layouts. If you’d like to use it on your existing document layouts, you can implement it in Layout Properties. Watch the video below for a quick tutorial on how this new feature works.

Know exactly where every lead came from

Wondering how your guests found you? Your lead forms now ask potential clients how they heard about you! The answers appear as Referral Source on your leads. We’ve added a few default options and you can configure your own under Settings> Preferences> Dropdowns> Referral Sources. In addition, you now have the ability to include these answers on lead reports.

Advanced filters on the booking tab

Need to find a specific booking? You can now use advanced filters on the booking tab to narrow down the list. The advanced filters include:

  • Restrict to multi-event bookings
  • Restrict to bookings with room blocks (hotel customers)
  • Restrict to bookings that have or don’t have a specific document associated
  • Market segment

Payment improvements within master docs

To simplify payments within master docs they are now only on the booking level. See our quick tutorial below for a deeper look.

Leads display upgrade

Your dashboard and lead page have new layouts! Look out for these upgrades:

  • Action button is now on the right side for easy access
  • Hotel customers will see the lead’s guest room needs
  • Hotel customers can filter on the lead page by guest room needs. These filters include All Leads, With Roomblocks, Events Only
  • Bookings with multiple events will list all of the events and the number of guests for each event.
  • If there are more than three events, it will also list the count of events.
