Tripleseat Release Notes: February 2021

Let’s get right into it folks because February was a big month for feature releases at Tripleseat!

Tripleseat+ Direct updates

First things first, Tripleseat+ Direct took the prize for the biggest feature release of 2020, but of course, with every big feature release comes the smaller encore releases, and February was jam-packed with them.

Early in the month, we made small changes to the lead form verbiage to match the Tripleseat+ Direct event styles. For example, instead of seeing a Delivery lead pop-up on your dashboard, you now see Drop-Off Catering. This helps to create harmony between the different elements of Tripleseat and makes the workflow between your lead forms, TripleseatDirect forms, and dashboard seamless.

With this release also came updates to menus on the Tripleseat+ Direct public form. Menu names became clickable headers that bring your customers to the full menu, and they are also able to scroll through and see all menus.

A little later in the month, we released reporting capabilities for Tripleseat+ Direct. This feature was built to enhance your business planning efficiency. Tripleseat+ Direct reporting allows you to pull a custom report of the menu and billing items associated with events booked using Tripleseat+ Direct.

Check out the video below for more information on this release and specific reports you can pull using it.

Finally, for Tripleseat+ Direct customers, we released Tripleseat+ Direct on EventUp. Now when prospects view your listing on EventUp, they have the ability to book an event or catering order directly from the listing site using your Tripleseat+ Direct form.

This means that in addition to being able to submit a lead inquiry, prospects can actually submit a booking for you to accept, directly from your venue’s EventUp listing. All the client has to do is click the Book Now button located above the request quote section.

Check out our video below for more information on how this exciting new feature works.

EventUp goes international

Speaking of EventUp, Tripleseat’s industry-leading venue listing site went international in February and expanded into seven new countries, including England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Australia,  New Zealand, and Canada. This means that now, not only does EventUp showcase international venues, but social and corporate event planners living in these seven additional countries can now search for venues in their area.

Autosaving and Manual Saving PDFs

And last but certainly not least, for the month of February, we released autosaving and manual saving PDFs. This anticipated release allows you to automatically save documents as PDFs once your clients e-sign them, also leaving a copy on the guest portal for their reference. You can also manually save a document as a PDF before it’s signed for your own purposes.

There’s a lot that goes with this release, so check out the video below for a full tutorial.

That wraps up our February releases! We hope you enjoy these new features as much as we do. Big things are definitely in the works for spring and summer 2021 so stay tuned.
