As coronavirus cases begin to slow down and states start to lift social distancing restrictions, restaurants in those areas are figuring out how to do business in this post-lockdown environment and others that are still in lockdown are paying close attention to their progress as they prepare to do the same.

This week, our Social Hour virtual roundtable invited customers who are reopening to share their experiences and those who are in the planning stages to ask questions. We learned a lot from this discussion — restaurants are rethinking everything, including menus by QR code instead of paper, spacing out tables and chairs to minimize customer contact, new safety and cleanliness standards, adapting event capacity and event packages for smaller groups, and much more.
