4 Venues for International Events

If you have the budget of your dreams to plan your next event, you might want to take your group outside of the United States for your future gathering. Maybe you already live outside of the States and this would be local to you. Regardless, we are here to provide some inspiration for a unique international event venue that will wow all event guests.

Take a look at these four venues for your next event:

1. Elwood Bathers — Melbourne, Australia

Elwood Bathers, a waterfront restaurant in Melbourne, is stunning in every sense of the word. It’s located on the beach with views across the Port Phillip Bay, making guests feel like they really are in a beach paradise when looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant.

Elwood Bathers has two gorgeous private event spaces. First, the Private Dining Room can seat up to 36 guests and is most ideal for intimate dinners and small groups. This space is also perfect for corporate gatherings, whether they be meetings or social occasions, due to the audiovisual capabilities of the venue.

The second event space, The Bay Room, is the larger event space and can hold up to 120 guests seated and 240 standing. The room has all the essentials for a killer event: a stage, dance floor, premium audiovisual system with two projector screens, entrance foyer, and flexible layout options.

Elwood Bathers’ menu includes fresh seafood and meats, veggies, and all sorts of delicious side dishes. All food is locally sourced and sustainably produced, with ingredients and flavors from Victoria, Australia.

2. Hart House Restaurant — Burnaby, Canada

Hart House Restaurant, located in Burnaby, Canada, is a beautiful venue and restaurant with both indoor and outdoor space for events. Hart House’s outdoor tent space can accommodate 200 guests for a wedding reception after the ceremony on the lawn next to it. The tent has a dance floor, draped ceilings with chandeliers, and outdoor heaters for the nighttime. A wedding reception under the tent will certainly be a memorable one.

Moving indoors, the Hart House Restaurant’s main dining room is available for full buyouts for up to 80 seated guests. When the weather is warm, this also includes access to the outdoor patio. The restaurant boasts four fireplaces, a bar, and a sound system.

Next up is the Rosedale Room, which is on the second floor and overlooks Deer Lake. This space can fit up to 64 guests seated at round tables comfortably for a medium-sized gathering. And lastly, there’s the Lakeside Cottage, which is ideal for 10 to 32 guests. The cottage is cozy with a fireplace, a lawn for receptions, and lawn games.

Regardless of what part of Hart House you book your event at, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy a one-day event or multi-day occasion on the beautiful 3-acre property.

3. Loof — Singapore

Loof, a trendy and exciting rooftop bar located in Singapore, is the perfect place for your next group outing. Loof’s drink menu is a fun one, with traditional Southeast Asian-inspired cocktails and bubble teas, like the Loof Bubble Tea with vodka, gin, rum, orange liqueur, sour plum, citrus, yogurt, and tapioca pearls. The food menu offers an assortment of bar bites — skewers, chips, noodles, and an assorted platter.

Loof is located in downtown CBD and is the perfect spot for a networking event, product launch, birthday celebration, or intimate cocktails with friends. Loof is a rooftop bar, so it provides an outdoor atmosphere with the ability to use an extendable roof in inclement weather. The deck is an urban garden with lush greenery and fun furniture with the capacity to hold up to 150 seated and 200 standing guests.

If you’re in Singapore, consider Loof as a unique and energetic location for your next gathering.
