As Chief Product and Technology Officer at Tripleseat, I’m thrilled to share an update on one of the most exciting shifts in technology we’ve seen in decades: Artificial Intelligence (AI).

At Tripleseat, we understand that technology is defined by cycles of profound change. Many of us recall the seismic impact of the personal computer, the ubiquity of the internet and email, the fundamental shift to SaaS software, and the rise of mobile technology. Each shift presented a massive opportunity. In fact, Tripleseat itself was born out of the shift to SaaS, recognizing how cloud-based software could better serve the unique needs of the hospitality industry.

Our focus at Tripleseat has always been anchored in our core Hospitality DNA: helping venues grow their business and, most importantly, take exceptional care of their customers. When we think about AI, we look beyond the hype. Our idea of AI is certainly not simply sticking a generic chatbot onto the software and calling it a day.
