Two Chicks, Three Seats Episode 78: Bring in Revenue for Valentine’s Day and Super Bowl Weekend

There are two major money-making holidays in the month of February that restaurants and bars can take advantage of when bringing in revenue during this short month. These two holidays are Valentine’s Day and Super Bowl Sunday. While Super Bowl celebrations will occur on the day of the big game, Feb. 12, Valentine’s Day offerings can run all throughout the weekend into Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14. If you don’t have any promotion in place, you can still put together a package to draw in the many people looking for ways to celebrate both of these events.

On the latest episode of Tripleseat’s podcast, Two Chicks, Three Seats, my co-host Kate Kennedy and I dive into specific Valentine’s Day and Super Bowl promotions that your restaurant or bar can put into place right now. When it comes to Valentine’s Day, it is easy to give your current offerings a romantic twist and draw in some extra guaranteed business by requiring deposits upon booking a reservation. We discuss multiple examples of unique offerings we have seen from our own Tripleseat customers available throughout the weekend and up until Valentine’s Day itself.

On the Super Bowl Sunday front, Kate and I talk about different bar packages and game-day contests that could entice customers to head your way on Sunday night. We provide tangible examples of fun packages that you can put together in a day’s time. Whatever you do, be sure to capitalize on these money-making festivities. It is not too late to get involved in some capacity.
