Two Chicks, Three Seats Episode 53: July’s Trending Hospitality Industry News Topics

Share:

There have been countless hospitality industry headlines that have made the news over the past year and a half. We started off with mask mandates and social distancing trends, limited capacities to outdoor dining, and now full capacities and the return of events. It’s been a disruptive 18 months for the industry!

In this episode of Tripleseat’s podcast, Two Chicks, Three Seats, my co-host Kate Kennedy and I chat about a few hospitality industry stories that have been trending lately. These stories include the challenges restaurants have been facing since reopening their doors, like dealing with rude customers and food shortages from the pandemic.

We also discuss an interesting story about how a lot of new restaurants have, in fact, started to open in the past few months in New York City. We also mention one Tripleseat customer that made the decision to close in-house dining for the time being in order to focus solely on events. Take a listen for yourself to stay up to date on what is happening in the hospitality and events industry!
