Two Chicks, Three Seats Episode 49: Attracting Generation Z as Customers in the Hospitality Industry

It’s always a good idea to freshen up on your restaurant, hotel, or unique venue’s marketing tactics. The world of marketing is constantly evolving with new strategies, social media platforms, and techniques. Different audiences also need to be targeted in different ways. In today’s episode of Tripleseat’s podcast, Two Chicks, Three Seats, my co-host Kate Kennedy and I discuss some marketing tactics that restaurants can use and offer in order to attract Generation Z customers to their establishments.

Generation Z is any person born between about 1996 and 2010, meaning the older side of the generation is turning 25 years old in 2021. According to an article published by The Digital Restaurant, Gen Z is expected to make up about 40 percent of consumers within the next decade, making Gen Z an important group for any business to target. From using certain social media platforms for marketing to offering unique dining experiences that Gen Z will love, there are many ways to make sure Gen Zers are showing up at your restaurant’s door.
