Two Chicks, Three Seats Episode 44: What Event Planners Want From Your Venue

As we continue further into the year, event planners and venues are looking deeper into getting events scheduled for their clients. Events in 2021 are different than ever before, as certain size limitations and restrictions stay in place when it comes to group gatherings. This means that planners and venues have to think outside the box in order to creatively accommodate events.

In this episode of Tripleseat’s podcast Two Chicks, Three Seats, Kate and I recap a virtual panel that Tripleseat hosted called What Event Planners Want From Your Venue.

The panelists included three event planners: Kristi Allen, VP/Senior Manager of Events at AllianceBernstein in Nashville; Mai Miller, Co-Founder and Vice President of Client Services at The New Normal in Boston; and Natalie Thomas, Co-Founder of MTG Hospitality in Washington, D.C. The panelists discussed what they have been looking for in venues, how the event booking process is going, how they find venues, and much more for both corporate and social events.
