Tripleseat has Unlocked Private Event Revenue for Narragansett Beer

Bringing the Narragansett beer production line back to Providence, Rhode Island, Narragansett opened its doors to its brewery in the midst of the COVID pandemic when we were all looking for a break and a cold beer. Immediately, the ‘gansett fans flocked.

With a vast open venue space that can hold 344 guests with a view of the production line, and a patio overlooking the Harbor with another 108 seats, it’s the perfect location to bring your team for Thirty Thursday or Tie the Knot with a cold one in hand.

About the company

Narragansett Logo

Narragansett Beer is a 114-year-old brand. In 1890, 6 German immigrants came together to build Narragansett, the brand and beer, along with the first production site in Providence, Rhode Island. With such a long history in America – the brand has seen its challenges (Prohibition and COVID) but has remained a household name and a New England tradition by crafting quality beer with honor.

Today, Narragansett Beer operates out of its two-year-old brewery location in Providence, Rhode Island, overlooking India Point Park and the Providence Harbor.

With 12 draft lines and a seltzer line, you get the 1970s-era Narragansett fan mixing with the modern craft beer drinker, creating a brewery and ‘gansett for all.

We had the pleasure of visiting the new Brewery space to discuss private events and in–house events with Ezra Juskewitch, the On-Site Sales and Events Manager of Narragansett Beer.

How Tripleseat helps

In year two, quarter one, Narragansett was 103% over the prior year. Being able to say, this is where we were, this is where we are, and this is where we can go is huge for the Narragansett team.

Going into the new year, Narragansett actually had a roadmap based on last year’s events business. With Tripleseat, they can review reports to see how they are succeeding, where it is that they are succeeding, where there is more business for them to capture, and what they can do differently to capture that event’s business.

Tripleseat has helped Narragansett organize their large open venue space into separate zones that can now be booked, capacities for each section have been set, and the widgets have helped them figure out what minimums to set for each section as well.

Being able to analyze exactly where leads are coming from, which marketing channel converts the most leads, along with determining the sweet spots for event size and minimums, allows the Narragansett team to use the reporting and data within Tripleseat to maximize marketing and set event thresholds to bring in the most revenue.

Narragansett is slowly increasing the scope of who has access to Tripleseat based on who needs to know what information, when, and how. Today, the events manager, the community manager, the kitchen lead, the general manager, and both floor managers have access to Tripleseat. This gives them an extra layer of communication, which is needed based on the volume of events they put on.

The Discussions feature allows Narragansett staff to communicate with each other easily, such as the kitchen staff and management, which will take us much further than we have come so far.

The Automated Email Responses, especially after an event, help Narragansett nurture current customers without having to write new emails for every event. They can simply pull up saved email templates, add a few customizations to the email, and provide that additional level of customer service that creates happy repeat customers.
