Tripleseat Customer Spotlight – TRADE

trade

TRADE  is just outside the financial district in Boston. It is a casual upscale spot for the the cool banking crowd with great cocktails and a modern take on american food. The Tripleseat team has gathered for networking happy hours there with the help off their all-star Private Events & Public Relations Manager, Jacki Morisi. Jacki, one of Zagat’s 30 under 30 industry leaders, is a Tripleseat super-user and told us how she feels about using it in her daily work life.

What was life like BEFORE Tripleseat? Lots of tedious tasks and re-writing documents multiple times. Checking multiple platforms, calendars, etc.

How has Tripleseat made your job better? It’s quickly become the only platform I need, and use, to get my job done when it comes to planning events in the restaurant. I can easily check availability, create contracts and BEOs, update kitchen sheets, and more all in one place. My managers can access it to see what events we have coming up and staff appropriately without even asking me. I can make event bookings from home or vacation by using this one cloud-based software. I love it. I don’t know how I would do my job without it.

Has Tripleseat helped you increase your sales? By how much (% wise) When I stepped into the event planning role at TRADE, we were already using Tripleseat so I am not sure specifically here how it has affected sales. I would think yes, because it lets me quickly and easily see what spaces and dates I have available so that if the initial space and time requested is not available, I can easily suggest other options that could be a good alternative.

What would you do if Tripleseat was taken away from you? I honestly don’t know. I can’t imagine doing my job without it. It would be difficult and I can already tell there would be a ton of room for error, miscommunication, and things not getting updated in a timely manner. It would definitely add hours on to my work week to do my job without Tripleseat.

How many events do you do in a month? It varies, we have one private dining room at TRADE and we also book buyouts and bar parties. In May we had 30 events.

How long did it take you to do a BEO BEFORE Tripleseat? and with Tripleseat how long? Before Tripleseat it could easily take 15 minutes to transcribe all the info. With Tripleseat I can practically make it in seconds. Hardly any typing required, and it is so intuitive you just plug in the event details and you’re all set. The form populates the rest.

What do you do with the time you save by using Tripleseat? Gives me more time to manage the social media accounts and spend more time interacting with staff and guests. Also has helped me network and get to know other event planners in my city.

Any other thoughts about Tripleseat? You know I love it! And everyone who works at Tripleseat is so helpful and fun. I love when you host networking events for the event planners in Boston. It’s a great way to get to know each other and the Tripleseat team.
