If you’re a Tripleseat customer and haven’t set up a profile or haven’t used yours recently, now is the perfect time to make sure your profile gets noticed by event planners. Here are a few tips that will make you stand out:

  • Put your best foot forward with your profile. Make sure that all of your restaurant’s information is up-to-date, and provide details and photos of all of your private dining rooms.
  • Fill out the categories for the number of guests, budget options, venue type, cuisine, event type, and features/amenities. Event planners are often looking for events that meet specific needs, so be sure to indicate what your venue offers.
  • Tell your story. Choose the option for the long description in your profile, and use that space to let prospects know why they should book your venue.
  • Better photos make better listings, and better listings get more leads. Select the perfect primary photo that will be shown with your listing on the directory. We recommend photos that are at least 700 pixels wide by 400 pixels high.

Davio’s Boston is a great example of a Venues profile that’s informative and stands out. The restaurant has a paragraph about their private event offerings and amenities. They’ve also provided photos of their private rooms and the number of guests each room can accommodate. Event planners have access to all of the details they need on one screen, and they can easily contact the venue or add them to a potential venue list.

If you do make changes to your profile, they may not appear right away. It takes at least 24 hours for updates to be reflected on the Venues website.
