When you flip the calendar to November, you probably think of one big holiday: Thanksgiving. But do you think about what it means for your business?
November is the start of the busy holiday season and that means a revenue boost for the hospitality industry. Your restaurant should be promoting catering and Thanksgiving reservations all month, as well as Christmas and New Year’s offers and gift cards. For hotels, make sure to get any holiday packages, discounts, and gift cards out front and center with all of your marketing. At the end of the month, hit these promotions hard on Black Friday (Friday, Nov. 26), Small Business Saturday (Saturday, Nov. 27), and Cyber Monday (Monday, Nov. 29) when consumers will be checking email and social media for the best deals of the season.
When you’re not thinking about the holidays, there are some fun food celebrations in November that will bring in customers that focus on comfort food and seasonal favorites. It will help you create holiday and seasonal content that’s relevant to your restaurant, hotel, or unique venue. Don’t forget to use the holiday hashtag in your caption to get your content found by customers taking part in the celebrations.
