Summer and outdoor dining weather has finally arrived for most of the country, so why not celebrate with a refreshing, award-winning margarita?
This month on Cocktails with Kate, Tripleseat’s Marketing and Event Manager Kate Kennedy made a Cucumber Lime Margarita – it’s Kate’s original recipe and it won her first prize in a bartending competition in Boston! Check out our Facebook Live recording to see Kate demonstrate how to make the drink:
Here’s the recipe for the Cucumber Lime Margarita:
- 1.5 ounces of silver tequila of your choice (we used Casamigos)
- 3-4 slices of cucumber
- 1 ounce Cointreau (or any orange liquor)
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1.5 oz lime simple syrup
Directions: Muddle cucumber with tequila. Add remaining ingredients and shake over ice. Strain onto rocks class with ice. Garnish with cucumber slice.
