7 Activity-Based Corporate Events Your Employees Will Love

Corporate events don’t have to be stuffy, formal affairs — in fact, it’s always a good idea to throw a little fun into the mix. Keeping things light, casual, and fun will help employees relax and enjoy themselves with their coworkers.

Upgrade your next corporate event by hosting it at a venue that has one of these activities to offer — it will help inspire some competition and give people something to do in between eating and drinking.

Having arcade games at your corporate event is sure to bring some nostalgia to your attendees. But what’s better than playing arcade games? A venue whose specialty is arcade games and craft beer. Barcade is a great example of this — its locations combine classic arcade games and a rotating list of beer on tap. Hosting your next corporate event at one of these locations will for sure be a good time.

Golf can be another great game to include at your next event. But instead of playing a full 18 holes, why not just settle for the driving range? Topgolf makes socializing a sport, and it is perfect for all skill levels.

5. Axe throwing

Axe throwing has become a very popular activity and can be a fun way to switch up your next corporate outing. It is the perfect group activity — anyone can do it and it’s a great way to incorporate some team bonding into your outing.

6. Minute to Win It

If none of those games interest you for your next corporate event, or if your plan is to host it in the office and you’re looking for something a little easier, try a Minute To Win It competition! You can either set up a bunch of games yourself or hire a company to come in and run the competition for you! Most of the competitions are simple but challenging and timed — it will get everyone’s competitive juices flowing right away.

7. Bar trivia

Another fun activity that will get the creative juices flowing is trivia. Set up an outing at a local bar that has a trivia night and divide your employees up into teams. Bar trivia is a great, casual way for employees to mingle, and you’ll quickly find out who in the company knows the most obscure facts!
